February 7, 2006, Vancouver — Pegasus announced today that it received
Site License (License No. SL300651) issued by the Natural Health Product*
Directorate (NHPD), Health Canada. Site licensing is authorized by Section
22 of the newly implemented Natural Health Product Regulations.

After seven months’ assessment, NHPD concluded that the site is in compliance with the Good Manufacturing Procedure (GMP) requirements specified in Part 3 of the Natural Health Product Regulations. * Note: Under the Natural Health Products Regulations, which came into effect on January 1, 2004, natural health products (NHPs) are defined as:
NHPs must be safe for consideration as over-the-counter products, be available for self-care and self-selection and not require a prescription to be sold.
