Economic and Commercial Counsellor of Chinese Embassy in Georgia visited NCCG
Tbilisi, February 1, 2012, Pegasus Pharmaceuticals Group (Pegasus) invited Mr. Bo Liu, Economic and Commercial Counsellor of Chinese Embassy in Georgia and the delegates to visit the Georgian National Cancer Center (NCCG). Dr. Luqian Zhang, Vice President of Pegasus and Ms. Lili Xu, Vice President of Careseng International Medical Group introduced the acquisition of NCCG, hospital renovation and expansion plan. Prof. Gagua, General Director of NCCG introduced the history of NCCG, cancer prevalence and cancer care in Georgia. Counsellor Liu took a tour of the hospital facilities. Counsellor Liu showed his praise and support on Pegasus’ acquisition of NCCG project, and introduced the Chinese government-funded program to send Georgia personnel (including medical personnel) to China for training. He also expressed there should be opportunity to choose NCCG medical staff for training in China.
