Careseng International Medical Group Inc. (CIMG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pegasus Pharmaceuticals Group Inc. (PPG) in the Republic of Georgia. Its business is building world-class major medical systems in Georgia, in line with EU standard, including:

• Cancer medical system: 2000 beds.
• Chronic disease medical system, including cardiovascular center, metabolic disease center, elderly mental center, autoimmune diseases center, four modern medical and research centers, 1,000 beds.
• Cosmetic medical systems: 300 beds.

The large medical system will be distributed in the Georgian capital Tbilisi, the Black Sea resort Batumi, to form an international medical (health, beauty) resort based in Batumi.

The first phase project of this medical system is upgrading and modifying National Cancer Centre of Georgia (NCCG, one of five National Cancer Centers in former Soviet Union, located in Tbilisi). Since 2005, PPG in cooperation with the NCCG achieved fruitful results on clinical trials of small botanic molecule anti-cancer drugs. In November 2008, PPG's proprietary Dammarane Sapogenins compound HemoMexI injection, HemoMexS oral soft capsules were approved by the Ministry of Health of Republic of Georgia as cancer standard treatment prescription drugs. At the same time, two type herbal medicines, Cardio Guard and Lipo-Aid were approved as non-prescription drugs for the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular treatment.

Based on mutual understanding and trust during long-term cooperation, in November 2010, PPG and the Government of the Republic of Georgia signed an agreement to buy NCCG. Under the agreement, PPG will invest $20 million within 30 months and upgrade NCCG to a modern cancer center -CIMG Cancer Centre, CIMGCC which has 600 beds and meets EU standard.

CIMGCC has unique features in the world, including the application of two new anti-cancer drugs. HemoMexS oral agent can effectively reverse the cancer patients’ multidrug-resistance to protect the patients’ body, improve efficiency and reduce toxity of conventional chemotherapy, and improve cancer cure rates; HemoMexI injection has significantly efficiency in the treatment for advanced multidrug-resistance cancer patients, and can effectively prolong survival and improve quality of life.

CIMGCC is equipped with the most advanced medical testing equipment in the world, including the latest independent cyclotron PET-CT scanners, MRI 3.0T superconducting MRI diagnostic apparatus, double-board digital gastrointestinal X-ray machine, digital breast X-ray machine and mammography camera, three-dimensional whole body ultrasound, automatic bone scanners, and three most advanced operating room equipment (brain surgery, endoscopic surgery, thoracic surgery), digital management systems, etc. These advanced instruments and equipment can make the most accurate diagnosis on the patient's condition, and the most objective medical evaluation on therapeutic effect of the two new anti-cancer drugs.
