Year 2010

  • The company developed GinSkin ™ series of skin care products which contain dammarane sapogenin formula. The products were displayed at beauty show in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Because of high technology innovation, the "white night condensate film" fills the gap in the market and is very welcomed by customers.
  • The company increased the capital of Beijing Genovax Biotech Corp. and confirmed two peptide new drug development projects and two new technology service projects of high-throughput peptide array technology service and genetic testing service. The group company is establishing a new technology block and plans to go public within 5 year in China.
  • Careseng ® PEG, Careseng ® PSG, Careseng ® Bioseng, Careseng ® DH, Careseng ® DH-plus, Careseng ® Nutro-FIT, HemoMexS ™ seven oral capsules, and GinSkin ™ Day Cream (SPF25) are issued the certificate of natural health products by the Canadian Ministry of Health.
  • Careseng ® NutroPro O Tablet, Careseng ® NutroPro M Tablet, Careseng ® NutroPro V Tablet, Careseng ® NutroPro E Tablet, Careseng ® NutroPro F Tablet, Careseng ® NutroPro EF etc. six kinds of products were issued product numbers by the Taiwan Department of Health.
  • On Dec.30, Pegasus Pharmaceutical Group (PPG) become a member producer of Canadian Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association (CCTFA). CCTFA is Canada's national industry association of make-up products manufacturers and sellers.
  • Based on mutual understanding and trust through long-standing collaborative research on clinical trials of new drugs, in November, the company and the Government of the Republic of Georgia signed an agreement to purchase the National Cancer Center which will be renovated and expanded to meet EU standards within 5 years, with 600 beds and the characteristics of NDCR anti-cancer therapy, HS-CSF promoting stem cell therapy for of the leading international medical centers.
  • In November, "Vancouver Natural Medicine Center" (clinic), the largest scale of its kind in North America, commenced operations. "Vancouver International Natural Medicine Center" will be established based on the current clinic operations, with the scale of "Careseng International Health Plaza ". The natural medical science, with the use of natural medicine (including its essence extract) and nature therapy, has a broad market in North America.
  • On Nov. 4 -5, the 4 member delegation led by James Cao, vice president visited Sujing Group in Suzhou, China, and exchanged ideas regarding Pegasus' reconstruction project of GMP solid preparation purification plant in Richmond, Canada. The two sides signed a Letter of Intent for the GMP project cooperation.
  • On Aug. 27, The company signed a research cooperation agreement with Professor Xing Tang of Preparation Research Institute, Professor Jinhui Wang of Natural Medicinal Chemistry Institute, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University on DS-1226 high bioavailability of solid dispersion preparation and its new chemical composition and quality standard research.
  • On Aug. 26, Institute of Medicinal Plant Development, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (IMPLAD, CAMS) and Pegasus Pharmaceuticals Group (PPG) signed a cooperation memorandum in Beijing on the research and development of Chinese medicine / herbal medicine. IMPLAD is a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Traditional Medicine, and play an important role in Chinese medicine / herbal resource protection, development and utilization research.
  • In the middle of 2010, to develop the Southeast Asian market, Singapore Pegasus Lifecare Co., Ltd. was established, and Malaysia Pegasus Lifecare Co., Ltd. was in preparation.
  • On June 1, Professor Jiahua Guo from The Research Institute of Sports Science, Taipei Physical Education College led a team to attend 57th Annual Meeting of American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and published three papers as poster regarding Pegasus' Dammarane Sapogenins of enhanced exercise endurance / anti Fatigue / anti injury function.
  • On May 7, A Selective Metabolites Compound Drug (SMCD)-based HemoMex™ Dammarane Sapogenins Injection 2000mg/100ml was approved as a prescription drug by Public Health Ministry of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The drug can be used alone or in combination with chemotherapeutic agents and/or radiotherapy for solid tumors, and used for the treatment of neutropenia complicated to chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy.
  • On Mar. 22, HemoMex S ™ Capsule of Dammarane Sapogenins 150 mg developed by Pegasus Group was approved by the Ministry of Health, Republic of Georgia, and formally registered as Prescription drugs. Indicated for the treatment of solid tumors, the drugs could work alone or in combination with chemotherapy drugs and / or radiotherapy, and could be used to treat chemotherapy and / or radiotherapy-induced leukopenia.
  • On Feb.26, NOVEL DAMMARANE SAPOGENINS, THEIR USE AS ANTI-CANCER AGENTS, AND A PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SAME (new dammarane saponins, their application as anticancer agents and the method of production) were issued as a patent in Japan under license No. 4464679.
