Year 2009

• July 1st:  the Municipal Government of Dalian, Liaoning province, China approved the construction project of Pegasus BioPark (Dalian) Co., Ltd.  The construction site will be along the seashore of Zhuanghe City under the jurisdiction of Dalian (on the north shore of the Yellow Sea and between the cities of Dalian and Dandong).  The Municipal Government will provide land of 1.074968 million square meters.  240,000 square meters of land is approved for building plants and 250,000 square meters for living area.

• May 6th:  In the Canadian Embassy in Beijing, Pegasus Pharmaceuticals Group Inc. jointly hosted the "Sino-Canadian Symposium on Advanced Biomedical Technologies" with the Canadian Embassy in China and Beida Weiming Bio-Engineering Group Co., Ltd. of Peking University, China.  Over 50 high ranking guests participated in this symposium, including senior government officials, scientists from renowned universities and research institutes who are experts in the biomedical and botanical drug research.  Dr. William Campbell was the speaker for the keynote presentation "High-throughput Peptide Array Technology and Its Applications".  Dr. Campbell (Ph.D), a Senior Scientist of Proteomics, is the Director of Technology for peptide drugs at Pegasus Pharmaceuticals Group, a Visiting Professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada and the former professor at Nagoya City University, Japan.  Dr. William Jia was the other keynote speaker on "Novel Botanical Small-molecule Compound Drug Delivery Technology and Its Applications".  The symposium plays important role in promoting information exchange of novel biomedical technologies between Canada and China.

• Pegasus Pharmaceuticals Group developed the botanical small-molecule products which help promote human stem cell growth, and delay aging.  Pegasus' team of scientists has developed the "Stem Cells Cosmetology", a holistic beauty and wellness therapy.  This multi-functional therapy not only helps regulate internal environment, but also helps reduce visible signs of aging by the applications of specially formulated botanical skin creams.

• In March, Pegasus has signed a collaborative agreement with Beijing SinoBioway Group Co , China, one of the largest biotechnology companies in China.  Both parties will launch a series of collaborative research based on Pegasus's proprietary high-throughput peptide array technology platform.
