Year 2005
- Patent Application No. 09/910, 887 and 09/982, 018, "Novel Dammarane Sapogenins, Their Use as Anti-Cancer Agents, and a Process for Producing Same" have been approved by the U.S. Patent Office with Patent No.: US 6,888,014 B2, and US 6,949,523 B2.
- The pre-clinical studies of the PandiMex® injection were completed, and Pegasus Pharmaceuticals Group ("Pegasus") had filed for novel drug application to the State Drug and Food Administration, People's Republic of China.
- From the laboratory research conducted at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Pegasus discovered a type of active substances derived from herbs, which can effectively inhibit the reverse transcriptase of HIV. These substances would be the source in the development of anti-AIDS drugs.
- Pegasus collaborated with the Shanghai Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry in the pharmacology and toxicology research of PandiMex® injection.
- Shanghai Tian-Bo Biosciences Inc. filed a Chinese patent for "A Method of Developing Novel Botanical Drugs with Metabolic Active Ingredients" (200510024262.2).
- Shanghai Tian-Bo Biosciences Inc. filed a Chinese patent for "Method, Formulation and Use thereof for Improved Oral Absorption of Pharmaceuticals or Nutrients" (200510067126.1).
- The research paper on "A Pilot Study of Safety and Efficacy of PandiMex® with or without Paclitaxel in the Treatment of Advanced Solid Tumors" was published at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
